At Percys, we use fresh ingredients to give our menu great clean flavours. We hand cut our slaw on the premises and make it freshly every day for a healthy, crisp, light and tasty side to add to any of your Percys favourites. We also make other sides such as BBQ beans, gravy, mac ‘n’ cheese, chilli and cornbread muffins – providing a selection of really honest, tasty and flavoursome sides. We make all our own sauces to give ours real punchy flavours, and grill or prepare every dish to order, so you can be guaranteed of all those lovely fresh BBQ flavours.
We have a secret – a co-owner of Percys is a very experienced local Butcher. This means that we have been able to hand select specific meats and cuts especially for Percys, and can ensure our meat is really the best of the best. It also means we have products that are completely unique to Percys, as we can make them all in-house. Like our delicious hickory smoked streaky bacon, sweet and slightly spicy chorizo and the innovative interpretation of a hot dog to produce our flat dog. We have also really spent time searching and working with our other suppliers, who all provide excellent products to compliment the Percys menu. From our amazing made in Italy, soft olive oil flatbreads, to a mouth watering selection of desserts, all made with love by hand using real butter, cream and chocolate.
At Percys everything is about the smallest of detail. Our authenticity is ensured by following the Percys RUB.SMOKE.SAUCE concept.
RUB – We have trialled endless variations of herbs and spices to come up with our own secret rub recipes. Each designed to give maximum flavour and make our meat dishes very unique. Our wings, ribs, pork shoulders and lamb are all given the rub treatment, and this forms the first layer of authentic flavour for these tasty dishes. We also use our own rub recipe for our spiced mayo – it’s difficult to put your finger on what makes it quite so good, but the result it damn tasty!
SMOKE – Many of our Percys products are slowly smoked in a big smoker using real hickory wood chips. Nothing compares to the smoky flavours that this process adds to meat. The whole pork shoulders for our pulled pork, joints of beef brisket, streaky bacon and huge ‘sticks’ of chorizo, all spend time in our smoker to add the second layer of BBQ flavour.
SAUCE – The Percys Original BBQ Sauce is essential to complete the third layer of authentic BBQ flavour. We spent a long time creating the perfect BBQ sauce recipe, and we now make and use around 40 litres of this a week at Percys! We use this with meats on the grill, to caramelise and make dishes sweet, sticky, smoky and seriously tasty, and also as a sauce in burgers and in pots for dipping.

Our mission is always to push the limits of fast takeaway food. We have designed a menu that is full of amazing flavours, quirky combinations and interesting alternatives. We love to push this even further with monthly specials that are often seasonal, use different flavours or themes, feature special ingredients and sometimes a bit of all three! We are very creative and experimental at Percys, so specials give our customers the chance to try some of our favourite ideas.
It is hard to remember after understanding what we do at Percys, that essentially we still operate a fast food takeaway service. We set out to prove that it was possible to provide fresh, great quality, authentic and exciting fast food, and are able to do all this through an extremely convenient delivery service straight to your door (to specific areas of MK), and discounted pick-up-a-Percys collection service from our base in Crownhill. Being open for lunchtimes and evenings 6 days a week, and ordering by phone or using our online system, means enjoying our fantastic menu couldn’t be easier.
